Geaghan Brothers Brewing now available outside the pub

Currently the only place you can get a taste of Geaghan Brothers beers is at the Restaurant and Pub in Bangor, to stumble upon it as a guest tap somewhere, at a brewfest or you bought a ticket to ride the Maine Beer Tours bus and a growler found its way on board. This is about to change, Geaghan Brothers Brewing Company has signed an in state distribution contract with Maine Distributors.

Good news for fans of craft beer that might not make the trip to Bangor all that often. Maine Distributors currently covers accounts from Fort Kent to Newport and Calais to Greenville. The roll out is expected to be slow for the first few months until the brewery ramps up production in the fall to support full distribution.

Currently no word as to what beers will be distributed but I would imagine it would be a few from their core lineup and one offs and specialty batches will remain only available at the pub.

Keep your eyes on the tap markers for brews from Bangor.

Cheers!
